As a Catholic school, St Marie’s is committed to working in partnership with parents and carers, who are the first educators of their children.
The Department for Education has published updated statutory guidance for Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE), which all primary schools are required to implement from September 2026.
We have reviewed our Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) Policy to ensure it reflects both the new statutory guidance and the teachings and values of the Catholic Church.
We are now inviting parents and carers to read our draft policy and supporting information before it is presented to the Local Academy Committee for approval.
