We are absolutely delighted to share some fantastic news – St Marie’s has once again achieved the Gold School Games Mark for the 2025–26 academic year!
The School Games Mark recognises schools for their commitment to PE, school sport and physical activity, and we are incredibly proud that the hard work of our children and staff has once again been recognised.
Our application was initially awarded Silver, but following a further review, St Marie’s was regraded to Gold because of the fantastic range of sporting activities and competitions our children have taken part in throughout the year.
The feedback recognised our commitment to high-quality PE, school sport and physical activity, as well as the inclusive and inspiring opportunities we provide for our children.
We are especially proud of all the children who have represented St Marie’s this year. Whether competing for the school, attending festivals, taking part in clubs, developing their skills or simply becoming more active, they have shown enthusiasm, determination, teamwork and excellent sportsmanship.
A huge thank you must also go to Mrs Scott, our PE Subject Leader, and to all our staff, coaches, volunteers, families and sporting partners who help us provide so many opportunities for our children.
