On Thursday, Year 4 had an unforgettable evening at Hollowford Centre, packed with exciting challenges, teamwork and plenty of fun!
The children began the evening taking part in a range of adventurous activities. One group soared through the air on the zip wire, showing great courage as they stepped off the platform and enjoyed the thrilling ride. Another group tested their aim during archery, demonstrating impressive concentration and determination as they aimed for the targets.
As a special bonus, the children were given the opportunity to tackle the high ropes course, including the famous “Leap of Faith”. This proved to be a real highlight of the evening. The pupils showed incredible bravery as they climbed high above the ground before taking the leap, encouraging and supporting one another every step of the way.
After an action-filled evening, everyone gathered around the campfire to relax and reflect on the day’s adventures. The perfect ending came with the chance to roast marshmallows.
