Our final evening together at Thornbridge was one to remember. The children made their own pizzas and cooked them in the pizza oven. Although it took a little time and patience, the results were definitely worth the wait – the pizzas were delicious! A big thank you to Mr Bellamy and Daniel for helping us throughout the evening.
After dinner, it was time for Thornbridge’s Got Talent. We enjoyed a fantastic line-up of 10 acts, including comedy, magic, dancing, singing, juggling and even a talking parrot! It was wonderful to see so many children stepping up to perform in front of their friends. Everyone who took part was a winner and should be very proud of themselves.
After a tense vote count, the comedy team of Ostin, Hosea, Nathan and Amen stole the show and were crowned the winners. Congratulations to them and to everyone who took part for making the evening so entertaining.
To finish our final night, we gathered around the campfire. The children reflected on the week, sharing their proudest moments, favourite activities and special memories. It was a lovely way to end a fantastic residential, full of adventure, friendship and personal achievements.
