Thursday was the final full day of activities at Thornbridge, and Group 3 made the most of every moment. Despite the challenging weather, the children showed fantastic resilience, determination and enthusiasm throughout the day.
In the morning, the group took on the Cargo Nets and Sky Ropes. The children challenged themselves high above the ground, showing great courage and confidence as they climbed, balanced and navigated the obstacles. It was wonderful to see them encouraging one another and celebrating each other’s successes.
After lunch, the group headed to Higgar Tor for a weaselling adventure. The children explored rocky passages, squeezed through narrow gaps and worked together to overcome a variety of challenges. They were incredibly impressive throughout the session, showing resilience, teamwork and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones.
It was a fantastic way to finish the activities at Thornbridge. The children have been a credit to the school all week, and we are extremely proud of everything they have achieved.
