Group 3 had another exciting day packed with challenge and adventure. During the morning, the children took part in a range of problem-solving activities, working together to complete tasks that tested their teamwork, communication and determination. They then tackled the bouldering wall, showing resilience and confidence as they challenged themselves on the climbing routes.
After lunch, the group headed to the Ashford Black Marble Mine for a truly memorable underground adventure. Equipped with helmets and head torches, the children explored the old mine tunnels, navigating tight spaces and discovering what life is like beneath the surface.
One of the highlights was experiencing complete darkness when the head torches were switched off. Despite being underground, the mine was not as cold as many expected! The children showed great courage as they squeezed through narrow passages and embraced the challenge of exploring in unfamiliar surroundings.
It was a fantastic afternoon of exploration, adventure and teamwork, with everyone stepping out of their comfort zones and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
