Group 2 – Cycling, Problem Solving and Bouldering

Group 2 enjoyed another busy day at Thornbridge. In the morning, they set off on a bike ride along the Monsal Trail. Although there was some rain and it was quite cold and windy at times, the children showed great determination and kept going. The weather gradually improved, and they enjoyed cycling to the Millers Dale abseiling bridge before making their way back.

The ride was both challenging and rewarding, with everyone encouraging each other and showing resilience throughout. The children should be very proud of their efforts and positive attitude.

After lunch, the group took part in a range of problem-solving activities, working together to complete different challenges. They then headed to the bouldering wall, where they challenged themselves, showed perseverance and built their confidence as they tackled the climbing routes.

It was another excellent day of adventure, teamwork and personal challenge, with the children continuing to make the most of every opportunity at Thornbridge.
