Our third Marathon Club session was another success! The weather was beautiful, with the sun shining brightly, but it wasn’t as hot as last week, making it a bit easier for the children to run. However, they still worked hard and took plenty of water breaks to stay hydrated and motivated.
There were some amazing performances this week! Freddie F from Year 5 led the way, running an incredible 22 laps (11 km), the most of the session. Ewan from Year 5 also did exceptionally well, completing 20 laps (10 km).
Excitingly, we had our first two runners to complete the half marathon milestone (42 laps)! James R from Year 5 and Billy from Year 4 are the first to reach this achievement, completing 42 laps! What a fantastic effort from both of them!
Everyone is working hard towards that marathon goal, and we are excited to see the progress each week. Let’s keep up the great work and continue running towards the marathon finish line!
