During Holy Week we read about Jesus washing the disciples feet as part of our prayers. We talked about why people would wash their feet in the time of Jesus (to wash off dust from the road that had gotten through their sandals) and how this normally would have been a servants job. Miss Healy washed the feet (or hands) of the children in Y3. They thought this was a bit silly at first however they then talked about how this is how the disciples must have felt. We talked about the title ‘Servant King’ that is given to Jesus.
