Pancakes Pop Up

On Shrove Tuesday Y3 opened up their pop up Pancake Cafe. The children worked as a team to complete their jobs to make the cafe run smoothly. We had our welcomers/cashiers on the door to take the donations. Our visitors were then welcomed in class by the order taking and drink serving teams. Orders were taken from each child and then the pancake preps made sure that there were enough hot and cold pancakes available. Then we had our toppings team who made sure the orders were completed. The whole team worked together to make sure that finished plates and cups were then brought to the washing/drying team. Then we were able to reset the cafe ready for our next visitors. Y5 were also able to have their pancakes before they left for their school trip today and Reception received a special delivery of pancakes this afternoon. 

At the end of the day Y3 counted up the money raised which came to a fantastic total of £102.40

This money will be going to the Good Shepherd Appeal. A huge thank you to the Y3’s. Everyone showed great team work, collaboration and problem solving to make the pop up Pancake Cafe a great success.
