Parents and families were treated to the Year 6 leavers’ performance on Tuesday evening. The children had been busy preparing over the last few weeks for their end of year production ‘Goodbye My Friend’. The audience were treated to a series of sketches and songs which looked back over the trials and tribulations of life at primary school, including sitting the dreaded SATs, school trips that go wrong and the ‘memorable’ infant nativity play. The show was rounded off in the traditional way – the winner of ‘Thornbridge Has Got Talent’ performing their winning act once more; Joseph delighted us with his rendition of Tom Grennan’s ‘How does it Feel’ while the audience clapped along.
Well done Y6 – the hard work paid off and you can all be truly proud of yourselves.
