Y6 Victory at Rounders Tournament

Written by
We had a fantastic day on Tuesday at the Davy's Social Club at Darnall. Our three teams  did really well, all getting through the group stages. St Marie's A and B ended up playing each other as the tournament continued. However it was St Marie's C who remained undefeated through the entire competition, beating Phillimore in the final. They will go on to represent Sheffield later this year! Everybody had a really great day and represented our school really well.

A terrible crime had been committed and it fell to Year 6, helped by the forensics team from Notre Dame science department, to solve the mystery. Who stole the teacher's chocolates from the staffroom? From a list of suspects comprising of: Mr Colclough, Mrs Fenton, Mr Fernandes, Miss Horton, Mrs Lever and even Mr Dewhurst, who were all spotted near the crime scene, children had to analyse the evidence left at the crime scene in order to eliminate each suspect until only the culprit remained. Jamie and Joel Compete Nationally

Written by

A huge congratulations to Jamie and Joel in Y6 who last weekend took part in the U13 National Racketball Championships. Not only were they competing against children who were older than them, but Jamie came 5th, and Joel came 2nd. What a fantastic achievement boys. We are all very proud of you.
