St Marie's Preschool - A happy, caring start to school life.
Opening September 2025
Our new preschool offers gentle, play‑based learning for children aged 3–4, led by experienced early years staff within our warm Catholic school community.
Places subject to availability. Funded hours accepted (see below).
Ages
3–4 years (the year before Reception).
Wraparound
Breakfast club from 7:30am. After‑school care with Kids Kabin until 6pm (subject to availability). Additional hours £6/hour, invoiced half‑termly.
Session times
Full day: 9am – 3pm
Morning: 9am – 12pm
Afternoon: 12pm – 3pm
There is no formal uniform — clothes they can move around in easily and which can get messy are perfect. If nappies/pull‑ups are required, please send them in a named bag.
We accept funded hours.
We offer places for the government’s funded hours for 3–4 year olds (15 or 30 hours depending on eligibility).

Simple routines, rich play.
- Welcome and settling activities
- Free‑flow play across zones (role play, construction, creative, quiet)
- Snack time and social chat
- Small‑group learning (early phonics, maths, fine motor)
- Outdoor play, story, prayer and home time
Lunch & drinks
Your child will need a packed lunch every day. No nuts in lunchboxes to keep everyone safe. A named, filled water bottle is needed for each session.
