On Tuesday, Year 4 visited Ewden Water Treatment Works.
The children showcased their knowledge of the water cycle, discussed which harmful bacteria is found in the water and completed group activities about the reduction of water waste.
They also had a guided tour of the treatment facility kitted out in helmets, headsets and safety goggles! They should now be able to tell you how water is cleaned before it enters our homes. We all had a fantastic afternoon.
Thank you to our parent volunteers for supporting us this afternoon.
