Robotics Fun at Sheffield High

The Robotics Day at Sheffield High on Friday was a fantastic day and the pupils involved represented St Marie’s fantastically.

In the morning, the children worked within their teams. They were shown how to build and design their own robots and also learnt how to programme them.

In the afternoon, they were asked to present a 3 minute presentation on AI in their groups. All children were given the same resources, and they could present in any way they wishes to.

There were eight judges that came from around Sheffield. The teams were judged on working together to debug, their AI presentation and how their robot completed the task.
At the end of the day results were as follows:Thomas’ team won Best Presentation.Lily Grace’s team won Best Teamwork and Resilience. The overall winners were Ruairi’s team.
We are extremely proud of everyone involved. Well done!
