Taking inspiration from the story ‘Starry Eyed Stan’, Year 2 spent an afternoon creating their very own instruments. The children looked at the resources available to them and explored different ways they could produce sound. They loved testing their instruments out, but most importantly lots of fun was had in the process of making them.
It was wonderful to see the children problem solving and working together to construct their instruments, some of which could even make 3 different sounds!
