The Maker {School} programme, led by Sheffield University, paid a visit to our school on Wednesday, and what an exciting time it was for all our children and staff! This special event took place with Maker workshops for all our classes, followed by a staff training session after school.
The children’s sessions were filled with fun, creativity, and learning. The children had the chance to explore various hands-on activities that encouraged their curiosity and problem-solving skills. From crafting to experimenting with technology, the children had a blast, and the smiles on their faces were a testament to the fantastic time they had.
Following the workshop, our staff attended a training event that aimed to develop the skills, knowledge and mindsets for future success – inspiring creators, innovators and problem solvers, and this session was a significant step in that direction.
We’re excited to announce that we are embarking on a journey to earn the Maker {School} Bronze Award for our primary school. This is just the beginning of an exciting journey for our school. We have more exciting initiatives and events planned in the near future, all aimed at enhancing the educational experience for our children.
Congratulations to all the children, staff, and everyone involved for their enthusiasm and support.
