In Science this week we have been investigating properties of materials. In our groups we tested objects to see if they were bendy. We then needed to help Miss Healy find out if her jacket would be good to wear in the rain to walk Charlie (her dog). We decided to try pouring water over the jacket to see. We had a volunteer to wear the coat whilst we poured water over and he checked to see if the water went through. Luckily it did not! Miss Healy’s jacket is waterproof so is good to wear in the rain.
We then had a think about what else we need to be waterproof and decided windows, doors and our roof needed to be waterproof.
