Something magical is happening in the Y2 classroom! Our four little caterpillars have become chrysalides and we have now moved them into their new habitat- the butterfly house. At the moment, the chrysalides look like they are resting peacefully, but in fact an amazing transformation is taking place inside.
We are now excitedly waiting for the butterflies to emerge. The metamorphosis process should take around 7-14 days… watch this space!
