In science we are almost at the end of our unit on finding out about How Plants Grow Well. The children have been learning about the importance of the flower and its role of making seeds for new plants.
Every person in Year 3 was fantastic at dissecting a flower and carefully examining each part of the flower. Many could name parts of the flower and explain the function of each part. Some children even spotted the vessels that had changed colour when we added dye to the flower, last week, to observe water transportation.
