On Monday, the Year 3 children went on an educational visit to Creswell Crags Museum and Pre-historic Gorge.Â
Â
The children ventured inside a limestone Ice Age cave, practised the Stone Age skill of spear-throwing and worked in teams to piece together the skeletons of pre-historic beasts!Â
Â
Staff guiding our tour commented on how impressed they were with the children’s engagement, their historical and scientific knowledge and their observation skills when sketching some of the historical artifacts.
Â
The children said they loved the trip and many of them wanted to go back with their families. We hope they do!
