Y6 looked fantastic in their costumes as characters from ‘Holes’. We had everything from the camp mates to yellow-spotted lizards, with wardens, Kissin’ Kate Barlows and many more; even a couple of holes!!
We started the day with an epic quiz to see how much we knew about the novel. Quite a lot as it turns out!
After break we took part in the WBD live lesson from the BBC and created characters, settings and plots based on a well-known story, but with a twist.
In the afternoon the children found something new to read in our class book swap and later, spent some time reading with Year 2. It was great to be immersed in so much enthusiasm about books and reading.
