This morning Y1 and Y2 joined a live stream where Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler read some of their stories. We listened to ‘Baddies’, The hare and the hedgehog’ and ‘The Three little Pigs.’ Axel Scheffler also showed us how he illustrates a page. The children all listened really well and enjoyed listening to the stories. They had lots of questions about what is it like to be an author and an illustrator. These stories have prepared us well for more reading fun on Thursday when it is World Book Day.
