On Thursday 26th January, Y1 and Y5 visited St. Marie’s Cathedral, Millennium Galleries, Winter Gardens and Graves Art Gallery. This was part of our RE topic of learning about Special People and the jobs that are done in the Church. We then visited the art galleries to look at different types of art that are on display and to see the work of some different artists. In Graves Gallery we also looked at the sculptures of George Fullard, straight and curved lines used in art and designed our own £10 note inspired by the tapestry on display.
