At the end of this half term Y3 have started to learn how to use Micro:bits. In our first session they had a go at making the screen show up with different pictures when you pressed button A or button B. We then moved on to making an LED name badge and having their names scroll around without having to press a button (forever). The children learned how to connect their device to the PC and then to download the algorithm to the micro:bit. There was lots of problem solving and resillience needed. It was also wonderful to see how Y3 are able to help each other too. Well done Y3 for a great start. We can’t wait to see what else you manage to achieve with the Micro:bits.
