Y3 go tunnelling

As we were reading ‘The Tunnel’ by Anthony Browne in class, the children went through their own tunnel this week. At first the children did not know how long the tunnel was, what was in there, how dark it would be or how many twists and turns it would take. After tunnelling through to the end, the children had a think about how they could describe a tunnel using ours and our imaginations. The list of adjectives was brilliant. We are now set to write our own versions of what we found at the end of the tunnel. We will find out how Anthony Browne’s story ends too.Â
