We are very proud to announce that St Marie’s has been awarded the Gold School Games Mark for the academic year 2024/25!
This national award recognises our strong commitment to high-quality PE, school sport, and physical activity throughout the year. It celebrates how we give all children the chance to get active, enjoy sport, and take part in fun and inclusive events.
The award also recognises the work we’ve done to keep parents informed, involve our pupils in planning and taking part, and build links with local secondary schools—helping make transitions smoother and more positive for our children.
Mrs Scott, who leads PE at our school, has played a key role in making this happen.
From School Games…
“This recognition reflects your unwavering commitment to high-quality PE, school sport, and physical activity… Mrs Scott leadership helps shape a future where the joy of being active is not just encouraged but celebrated.”
We are thrilled to receive this award and will continue to make sure that movement matters every day—for every child at St Marie’s.
Well done to all the staff and children who helped make this possible!
