On Tuesday, Year 4 visited the Ewden Water Treatment Works in Stocksbridge. The children shared their knowledge of the water cycle, discussed which harmful bacteria is found in the water we treat and completed group activities about the reduction of water waste. Year 4 also had the amazing opportunity to have a guided tour of the treatment facility kitted in helmets, headsets and safety goggles!
They are now experts on what should and shouldn’t be flushed down the toilet! Ask them what they found out on our trip.
