This afternoon Y3 went to the Crucible Theatre to a performance of Sir Scallywag and the Golden Underpants. The children had a fabulous time learning all about the different instruments involved in the performance, joining in with actions they had been learning in their Performing Arts lessons to enhance the story and of course singing along to the words from the story.

We were very lucky, not only to have reduced price tickets but, to be given front row seats! The children said they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were glad that the class vote had been in favour of going today otherwise most children in Y3 wouldn’t have had this experience.
