On Wednesday, the children in Year 3 took part in a Bronze Age workshop at Weston Park Museum. They looked at the artefacts in the museum, and they were given the opportunity to dress up in Bronze Age style clothing. The children then completed art activities in the museum workshop. They created clay pots, and they made necklaces based on replica jet necklaces. The children were given a maths task of planning a Bronze Age feast by trading spear heads for food items.
The children had a great morning. They learned some new facts about the Bronze Age, and they really impressed the staff at the museum with their excellent behaviour. Well done Year 3!
