Homework week ending 4.11 2020

Maths

This week the children have been using My Maths to support their learning. https://www.mymaths.co.uk/ If your child is unable to remember the activities we are using please refer to the screen shot. (Click on the title of this post and then scroll down and you will see it as an attachment). The children have been completing the lesson and homework tasks for the first two units for Y3 in Number/Addition and Subtraction. Your child does not need to use a personal login for the homework tasks. They just need to click the practice button to access the materials.

Reading

Please continue to read regularly with your child at home. Please continue to discuss the books as you read together.

Writing Christmas cards

If your child is sending Christmas cards to family and friends, this is an ideal time to get them to practise their handwriting. Although all the children know that names need a capital letter, this is sometimes forgotten when the children add characters to their stories. Please remind them that capital letters are all tall letters, and they do not have flicks as they never join another letter.
