Reception Home Learning

The Reception Team value the importance of family time spent together. Here are some suggestions of practical activities you may like to do at home over the next few weeks: cooking or baking, planting, building dens, creating with Lego, playing board games, completing jigsaws, playing sports in the garden, drawing and colouring or even helping with the chores around the home!

Last week, we sent home a learning pack with each child including:

· Worksheets and paper resources to support maths and Read Write Inc learning that you can use multiple times.

· A work book that your child can record Read Write Inc, hand writing or maths work in.

· This book can also be used to keep a daily dairy of this extraordinary time.

· Also some useful online sites you may like to use include:

Cbeebies/Numberblocks, Oxford Owl, PhonicsPlay, Funbrain and Topmarks

Thanks  for all your help and support, all the best for the next few weeks,

Mrs Draper, Mrs Grant and Mrs Walton

Wow! Said Reception

The reception children visited an arts exhibition on Wednesday based on the much-loved children’s book, Wow! Said the Owl by Tim Hopgood in Doncaster. Check out all the photos in the gallery below. Thank you to all our helpers on the day.
