We wish all of our families a very happy and holy Easter.
Our term has come to an end, marked by some very moving Holy Week liturgies, led by different classes. These have given our children a very clear picture of events leading up to Jesus dying on the cross, to save us from our sins, before being laid in the tomb.
Please take the opportunity to help your children continue to experience the special liturgies thereafter in your own parishes, including the special celebration of Easter, at the Easter vigil or on Easter Sunday where they will hear about the Resurrection. We will be reminding them about this great event when we return after the holidays.
Thanks to all of you who volunteered to take part in our Lenten Fast Day lunch last Friday to support Cafod's work in combating malnutrition in Zimbabwe. We hope you enjoyed the soup! Well done to all the children and staff who chopped all the vegetables this morning. If you haven’t paid already, please pay via our online payment system or send £2 to the school office on Monday. Over 100 meals of Soup were served – a magnificent total- giving us over £300 to donate to CAFOD. Our donations will be matched by the UK Government. This means that we have raised £600 making double the difference!
