Y3 Creswell Crags

On Monday, the Year 3 children went on an educational visit to Creswell Crags Museum and Pre-historic Gorge.

The children ventured inside a limestone Ice Age cave, practised the Stone Age skill of spear-throwing and worked in teams to piece together the skeletons of pre-historic beasts!

Staff guiding our tour commented on how impressed they were with the children’s engagement, their historical and scientific knowledge and their observation skills when sketching some of the historical artifacts.

The children said they loved the trip and many of them wanted to go back with their families. We hope they do!
