We celebrated the Resurrection in school today with various activities in each class and a unique Resurrection Liturgy with music provided by our Shona community. It was a wonderful end to a very eggciting day.
The Easter bonnets in KS1 were very impressive. Thank you to all the families that helped make it a wonderful and joyful experience for the children, as they paraded around in front of all the school.
We were also impressed with the egg rolling and the decorated eggs in KS2. There was a lot of effort put into them and once again we thank you for supporting your children in taking part and having a great time.
Who was crowned St Marie's Egg rolling champion? It was Aiden in Year 6 whose eggcellent egg continue to roll even after reaching the end of the egg rolling track! It still may be rolling somewhere!
Please take a look at the photographs below of our very special day and a big thank you to our Shona families for helping make it a very special liturgy.
