Homework week ending 2nd September 2020

Spelling

This week we have been looking at words ending in le and el. Please see if your child can remember which words belong with which grapheme. As the le and el graphemes are pronounced in the same way, the children need to learn which ones belong together. In class the children tried drawing a picture of a table with a little apple and a little bottle in the middle of the table. By grouping the words together, the children should find it easier to remember if the word needs le or el at the end. Please encourage your child to draw a picture which includes some of the el words.
