Team -working

Today several children were rehearsing with theatre club all day. The rest of the class were involved in activities requiring them to work together as a team. We identified the key skills needed to be able to work together in a cooperative way. We also identified why team work activities can sometimes go wrong. The children completed a range of tasks throughout the day, including completing two 300 piece jigsaws, building a den in the woods, creating Roman buildings with the bricks, creating mosaic patterns collaboratively, and producing a shadow puppet show. Despite the heat, the children worked well together and they were proud of their achievements.
